Strawberry Dreamsicles

I did see the sun today, I swear...for at least 10 minutes. I was talking to my friend in Arizona and she pointed out that at least we have the most incredible berries in the country and this in fact can brighten anyones day! Before our introductory Your Vibrant Child call (which by the way you can still listen to by clicking here) I developed a few treaty recipes as freebies for the people signing up. This is one of them, made from fresh Oregon strawberries...yum. Thats what everyone that tried them thought too. I have been enjoying the coconut palm sugar as it is a nice low glycemic option. Feel free to substitute sweeteners of your choice (honey, maple syrup, stevia etc). Just taste along the way and adjust the sweetness.

Chia Chocolate Cookies

I ate way too many of these. I couldn't help it and I love that they are gluten free, grain free, dairy free, low glycemic, high protein, high fiber and high in good fats. Kid tested and approved, PLUS...they take about five minutes to prepare and 11 minutes to bake. Enjoy~
Oh, and don't forget to sign up for the Your Vibrant Child: Truly Food Ways to Nourish Your Family Toward Health, Balance, and Vitality FREE teleseminar this Sunday June 13th at 5 PST eastern 8pm EST. Along with the sign up you will receive three more healthy, whole food, dessert recipes.
